Purposes of creating the Constitution i. To build a just and humane society ii. To establish a government that: a) embodies our ideals and aspirations; b) promotes the common good; c) conserves and develops our patrimony; d) and secures the blessings of independence and democracy under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace.
